​The Bancroft Leadership Centre

• The Bancroft Leadership Centre staff will work alongside teachers and chaperones that attend our Outdoor Centre. We want you to be able to make meaningful connections with your students during your stay. Our staff will work hard to keep the students engaged in educational and exciting programs throughout the day, giving you and your fellow supervisors an opportunity to participate in the programs as much or as little as you would like. For the majority of the day, our staff will take the lead so that you can enjoy your trip with the kids.

• Teacher responsibilities

• Upon arrival, attend a meeting with your group coordinator to discuss final details

• Ensure students get to and from activities (cabins and free play areas are cleared)

• Handle any situation that requires discipline

• Be responsible for any trip to the hospital/walk-in clinic/pharmacy that may be necessary

• Supervise wake-up, in between interest sessions, bedtime, free time, switcheroo time and all times that students are in cabins

• Supervise cabin clean-up on the day of departure

• Assist in a program area if necessary (we will let you know if we require any help)

• Ensure our no food in cabins policy is maintained at all times.
