​The Bancroft Leadership Centre

Interest sessions are the chosen instructional program times happening throughout the day.  Each interest session is one hour in length.  The Bancroft Leadership Centre will be responsible for instruction and supervision during these times.  Most activities will have 10 minutes of formal instruction and 50 minutes of opportunity for the students to experience the activity for themselves.  Each school group will work with the Leadership Centre Director to create interest session groupings.  These groups rotate to each selected area throughout their stay at BAC.  For further details check out our Interest Session Activities.

An engaging group activity is organized and run by our staff team each night for your school.  All evening program activities are high-energy, whether they are indoor or outdoor and we encourage running shoes and sporty clothing.  Some programs are active, while others are strategic but all of them require a lot of group effort and team work!

Each evening we close our days with a campfire at one of our fire pits. Campfire is a huge part of BAC and staff are able to offer both structured programs of open stage opportunities.  At the end of the campfire we will slow things down and reflect upon the day before sending the kids back up to their cabins. A bedtime snack will be provided prior to going back to cabins for the night.
